Replacing Johnson Controls Heat Pumps

Johnson Controls

About Johnson Controls Vertical Stack Water Source Heat Pumps

Founded in 1885, Johnson Controls started by inventing what we know today as the thermostat. Since then, they’ve grown to be one of the world’s largest suppliers of HVAC equipment and building control systems for all kinds of applications.

Johnson Controls has supplied many developments in the Greater Toronto Area with their vertical stack water source heat pump. They range from 0.75 Ton to 3 Ton capacity in most high-rise residences.

Johnson Controls no longer produces a replacement chassis for their heat pumps. Although, they connect existing clients with replacement solutions designed to work with their products. Unilux RHP has a replacement solution for Johnson Controls water source vertical stack heat pumps.

About Johnson Controls Vertical Stack Water Source Heat Pumps

Unilux RHP manufactures a replacement solution designed to completely replace Johnson Controls vertical stack heat pumps.

The process starts by removing the existing equipment from the cabinet. Unilux RHP removes the old Johnson Controls chassis, controls and blower/motor assembly. Next, the new blower/motor assembly and controls are mounted inside the cabinet. Finally, the new chassis is slid into place, connected and fully commissioned.
