Omega Heat Pumps and Enerzone heat pumps are identical. Their water source vertical stack heat pump lines use the same model numbers in the HRP series. The available sizes are HRP-30 (0.75 Ton), HRP-40 (1 Ton), HRP-60 (1.5 Ton) and the HRP-80 (2 Ton). The most common sizes found in greater Toronto area residential high-rises are the HRP-40 and HRP-60.
Enerzone heat pumps were manufactured in London, ON. The Enerzone heat pump product line was eventually acquired by Omega Heat Pumps.
Omega Heat Pumps is based in Mississauga, ON and sold exclusively through their representative, HTS, to HVAC contractors and service providers. This can mean that your new heat pumps pass through 3-4 people before being installed in your suite.
